Harrassment On Moon Guard In World of Warcraft

Parallel to yesterday's story about Starcraft 2's review policy for maps, comes the news that Blizzard is cracking down on "erotic" and offensive role-play in some parts of World of Warcraft's world. Specifically, the Moon Guard server.

Moon Guard is a role-play server (for non-WOW-ites, that means the players there pretend to be Night Elves while they're pretending to be Night Elves) and has developed a WoW-wide reputation for no-holds barred sexuality, racism and nastiness in the village of Goldshire. It is, according to some players, a wretched hive of scum and villainy. So Blizzard is taking some extra time to patrol that area of the game.

In response to gamer complaints and the server's growing reputation, Blizzard is promising to "patrol" this particular part of the game, and hand out appropriate punishments for violators of the game's code. Here's how moderator Arrestide described the plan, on Blizzard's message board:

"Members of our CS team will 'patrol' Goldshire on Moon Guard on a regular basis, and take appropriate action for individuals violating the Harassment Policy. Note that this pertains primarily to public messages (/say, /yell, General) and unsolicited whispers. We won't be showing up with that mythical crack of lightning-- we'll just be watching silently for any rule-breaking language and following up privately with the player[s] in question."

It bears mentioning at this point: Based on my, and everyone else I know's, experience in the game, the vast majority of World of Warcraft players are not engaged any kind of "erotic" chat or other frowned-upon dumbness, whether they are on role-play servers, Care Bear servers or PVP servers. Mostly, people hang out in front of the Auction house looking for a group, it seems.

Although they don't say so explicitly in their post, it seems to me that if the WoW players out there who prefer to engage in "erotic" role-play were to do so quietly, and keep their proclivities out of general channels, there wouldn't be a problem. This particular message board thread began with a post mainly about content on the server's main channel.

In this case, it really seems like Blizzard is responding to legitimate complaints from real players as opposed to unreasonably throwing around its authority. Having played WoW, I've experienced the annoyance of spammers using the general chat to sell gold, or /y-ing dumb crap. I can only imagine how disheartening it would be to play on a server with a lot of people intent on being disruptive/grief-y.

The starting quest area in Cataclysm is very similar with the Death Knight in Wrath of the Lich King. You will interact with the game environment when a quest calls for rescuing citizens behind closed doors. Other quests have players attacking while riding a horse or firing huge cannons.

In the new expansion, Blizzard has given players more quest styles than the standard fare. Since every character needs coin and bags, new players will have two bags by the time they leave the starting area.

The advance of your character will be helped along with the phasing technology used in Lich King. In cataclysm ( wow cataclysm gold ), you would start with the zone under attack by heavy Scourge forces. Players and their party would help set up or aid bases along the way in the fight against the Scourge.

If you are a hunter, you should start with a pet, but you won't be able to do much with it until level 10 when you can learn the Pet Control Ability. Until then, you and your pet attack simultaneously. To check out the hunter changes, they no longer need to carry ammo, but your pet will still need food. When a crossbow was given as a quest reward, You are able to use it right away and switched over from my gun.

There is still one more class change which is the switch to how hunters uses their abilities. Currently, a hunter uses mana for attacks, Cataclysm will change that to a focus-based attack system, much like the rogue class. Fortunately, the new system seemed to work just fine.

In Cataclysm you can get more than just a ding when you reach a new level. You'll also get a message telling you that you have an ability you can learn from your trainer. Questing went well and level 10 was easy to reach, although there was tricky quest existed, you can do it with the help of your friends without hurting each other.

There is no wonder that the Worgen storyline is one of the more unique, enjoyable character experiences players ever had in WoW, and the variety of quests and the phasing technology made the experience different than any previous starting endeavor.

There are a wealth of caster Maces and Swords in the world, many of which are quest rewards. The Gavel of Pure Light is an excellent choice and isn't too hard to get.

5. Grab anything that is an upgrade at lower levels.
Before you hit level 70, simply use what you can. Every 5-8 levels, you'll probably get an upgrade from an instance of quest reward. If you feel you need something sooner, check the Auction Halls for something better. When you have at least 1-2 of your desired stats, make use of it.

Recently, A friend asks me to tell him some experience to farm Wool Cloth.I have a lot friends playing world of warcraft.I tell him my summary of all of us experience which I also want to share with you.

I see stacks of wool all the time for 2g buyout or more. I found that when leveling an alt, there's a limited range between when mobs will drop wool cloth as compared to the other cloth types. I don't know the exact level range when the cloth types drop, but for the sake of argument, let's say linen is 1-19, wool is 20-29, silk is 30-39, mageweave 40-49, runecloth is 50-60 (and Netherweave in Outland).  This doesn't appear to be an exact range, because the same mob type can drop both linen or wool (Ashenvale outrunners, for example drop both). Anyway, the thing that I found was that for the most part there was a very short window where you're killing mobs that drop wool.  In any other character I've leveled to 60, I always had more than enough silk, mageweave and runecloth for the cloth turn ins for each faction (60x4) plus get the associated first aid skill up (probably another 80.  My current alt is now at the point where I can turn in silk, and I was able to get my first aid skill to the point where I can make silk bandages, but only had enough wool to turn in to one faction so far, so that's at least 180 fewer pieces of wool cloth that I've had drop. You're killing humanoids for 20 levels to get linen cloth, only 10 for wool cloth, and those are the shortest 10 levels in /played time (i.e. takes longer to go from 30-40 than from 20-30), so it makes sense that you'd whip through those 10 levels without getting a massive pile of cloth.
