All of us used to play it together, probably about a year ago. Then they slowly quit one by one and now im the only one who plays. They all play league of legends 24/7 (which i have tried many many times with them but just cant get into it) now instead of WoW. When im at school sometimes they'll say stuff loudly to the whole class like "john has no life all he does is play wow all day", when i probably play wow less than they play league of legends. Then they'll make subtle remarks to me like "Hows your world of warcraft going" (in a sarcastic manner). I try to tell them they play league of legends just as much as i play wow, but they say "but we all play together, so you just isolate yourself and play wow, so you have no life". I'm really tired of it and i just want to enjoy my leisure time without that hanging over my head. Thanks in advance.
Also i forgot to mention i go to a very small high school (im a junior) literally theres about 70 students in the whole high school. SO there isnt much opportunity for better friends especially because most of the people at the school are friends.
They're not good friends if they say those mean things to you, especially that they used to do the same thing too. Don't change for them, if you enjoy WoW, then keep playing, find some friends who won't judge you just because of that. Just don't bother with those people.

Tell them that they used to play WoW when they start making fun of you.

i think you should ignore them and be like you know what, play whatever silly game you guys want like i am doing what i want i think you have to be stubborn in this situation and those friends of yours are kind of not thinking .....hypocritical in a way i mean they used to play it before and now they make fun of you for playing WoW

I moved around a lot and during my past experiences, I was picked on for everything. Wearing a dress, looking like a "cherry." looking like a dork, geek, being a bookwarm and being the weird kid plus much more. In fact I was even called a pig, made fun of my hair styles, and I used to have girls running behind me and pulling on my hair making snort noises. Because I couldn't handle it due to my childhood tramas from home I was facing, I tried to stop reading, tried stop being smart and ended up messing up my own school experiences. I could have gone to a charter school more respectful and I would have been able to do things much more differently. Now I work at a bogus job in burger king and I continue to have a hard time to get back the interests in writing and reading that I once had. Never stop enjoying what your doing and you know what, don't defend either. Let them say what they want. If you stop enjoying what your doing, you'll end up like me maybe one day who can't enjoy anything in life that I once used to and be miserable trying to teach yourself how to be happy again and not in people's image. Your liesure time is your leisure time not their's and hey, you know what. You could become a designer for a video game one day, or you can learn so much about video games and become a video game tester making a hit load of money if that's what you enjoy and I bet you your friends later in life will wish they were never mean to you because you'll be rich and they'll still be broke.
My past experiences and experiences of people.
